Circuits Plus Inc. (CPI) provides engineering and business management expertise in overseeing the processes of design, fabrication, and testing of custom printed circuit boards (PCBs) and assemblies. CPI was established in 1990 as a sales representative organization within the PCB industry. Subsequently, Circuits Plus has successfully evolved into a value-added turnkey solution provider to the electronics industry.

 

CPI assists its customers in various ways. Circuits Plus provides a quality supervisory service that eliminates most faults before the PCB or assembly goes to production. Some customers require design engineering expertise, many rely on us for manufacturing solutions, while others require reliable procurement services for turnkey manufacturing. CPI is proficient and effective in all these areas. Over the years we have established a loyal customer base that grows from referrals and active solicitation and a solid vendor base of manufacturing companies and direct or franchised distribution that supports our customer’s needs. In many instances, our vendors have also become loyal customers of CPI.

The printed circuit board industry has evolved rapidly over the past decade; consequently, there is still the need to be able to process both conventional and cutting-edge circuitry. The board shops CPI has partnered with include both domestic as well as offshore companies that excel in niche markets, supporting prototype and short-run high-volume requirements. Our recent acquisition of Circuitboard Engineering Services (CES) has also added to our ability to provide quality bare boards for our customers at competitive pricing and outstanding quality.

CPI provides continuous monitoring of product quality, and this results in Circuits Plus’ customers receiving the highest quality products from the most capable manufacturing facility for each project. Our specialty is in vintage Mil-spec and high-reliability circuit assemblies; however, Surface Mount Technology requirements are serviced as well. We consider the board complexity, the project time restraints, cost, and the quality requirements to provide the best product for our customers, Circuits Plus is fully compliant with both Military and ITAR specifications.

CPI can step in at any stage of the development cycle, from design concept to production or inspection, in order to facilitate the success of the product. The niche market we serve is the turnkey manufacturing sector for companies with “short-run” requirements that many contract manufacturers would not pursue. These designs can include a variety of materials with varying degrees of complexity and it is this short run, specialty, high reliability, and prototype work that makes up the majority of the CPI sales volume.

CPI has been experiencing consistent revenue growth over the last 25+ years and we foresee further growth by increasing in-house manufacturing for small runs and specialty work.
